The Kentucky Hemp/CBD Symposium & Expo will educate and inform the general public about Industrial HEMP, HEMP derived products and CBD. Dr. Jagannadh Satyavolu with the University of Louisvilles's Conn Center will be there to speak about research efforts conducted on HEMP as a potential bio-fuel. Dr. Tom Keene with the University of Kentucky with speak on the multi-purpose use of HEMP, Ashley Baesler registered nurse with certifications by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (ACCN). Ashley is also a nurse educator, grower, processor, and distrubitor of organically-certified CBD oils and other therapeutic products. Ashley’s research about the medicinal benefits of CBD began in 2017. Ashley is also a member of the Kentucky Nursing Association, American Nursing Association & American Association of Heart Failure Nurses. She has been very involved in finding solutions for the pain experience as a patient advocate and nurse, she wants to help our community understand the pain experience for Kentuckians and find solutions.  She will speak to education, advocacy, and expertise on Industrial HEMP/CBD so our communities will be resilient and open to innovative and holistic approaches to health. Harold Jarboe, aka "The Old Hemp Farmer" will also grace the presence of this event bringing a wealth of knowledge on HEMP Farming, challenges, barriers, etc. With more than 27 years experience, Mr. Jarboe will have plenty to offer this audience. There will be speakers there discussing financial challenges in the industry with banking and Merchant Account services. The event will host a round-table discussion that will consist of an open dialogue with the audience and our guest panel speakers.
