Silks In The Bluegrass Derby Eve Dinner to 2021 

After reviewing the safety protocols associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, Operation Open Arms has decided that the Silks Derby Eve Sponsor Dinner, the annual fundraising event for the charity, will unfortunately not be held in 2020. Instead, planning will begin towards next year’s Silks Derby Eve Sponsor Dinner, which will be held on Friday, April 30th, 2021, at historic Locust Grove in Louisville, Kentucky.

We greatly appreciate your support, your patience, and look very forward to celebrating together on Derby Eve, April 30th, 2021. 

Tickets for purchase will be available for purchase starting December of 2020.

Silks in the Bluegrass, the annual fund-raiser benefiting Operation Open Arms, Inc., is looking forward to celebrating again this year, on FRIDAY, MAY 1, 2020.

• This year our Silks in the Bluegrass Sponsor Dinner will be held at GlenEntry, historic home of Ambassador Cathy Bailey and Mr. Irv Bailey. You and your guests will enjoy a lovely evening on the night before the 146th running of the Kentucky Derby complete with cocktails and dinner by Renown Louisville Chef Kathy Cary.
• Dancing after dinner will be at Historic Locust Grove located less than 5 minutes from the Bailey home. Cocktail Attire.

• Use of a Jockey Club Suite one time during the 2020 Fall Meet including night racing, Thanksgiving Day or any day during the Fall Meet. (Suite is on a first come, first serve basis)

• Your contribution will support a child for ONE year.
