Poetry Out Loud
Explore the revolution of spoken word poetry in this four-week workshop. From composition to performance, you will be guided on how to "write to speak," and will workshop your piece both in written and spoken form, with one session dedicated solely to the performance aspect of poetry. Lessons will include “Writing for Reading” and “Finding Your Voice – Literally” to “Spoken Word and Slam for Dummies” and “Poetry as Performance Art.” A public reading will be held at the end of the four weeks to showcase your work.
