I Have a Voice: Personal Narrative Poetry
This two-hour generative writing workshop will explore personal history in a safe and supportive environment to create original pieces of writing. Participants will have the opportunity to write 2-3 new pieces of writing as well as share their writing with each other. We will discuss self identity, heritage, and personal history while exploring the work of Ada Limon, Rita Dove, Maya Angelou, among others.
Open to all levels of writers, no prior writing experience necessary.
